Dedicated to Saint Romain, the church dates from the end of the 12th century, beginning of the 13th. It is crenellated and fortified with machicolation with round bungalows and loopholes placed at the north-east and south-west corners. The sanctuary, a square with four Romanesque columns and a semicircle at the end, is illuminated by four windows decorated with columns at the outer corners. The bell tower, square to the north-west, is one of the most curious in the Gironde (16th century). The upper floor (1673) is fortified, supported by oblique buttresses and a turret on the north face. The sacristy dates from the 18th century. The bell of 1517 comes from Toutigeac with an inscription of 1623.
