Description
In 1150, a lady of great beauty appeared to two young children who fled in terror. Instead, they later found a statue of the Virgin by the fountain. Eleanor of Provence had a chapel built on the site. Since then, this legend is at the origin of the devotion to Notre-Dame-de-Lorette.
