Built on the foundations of a medieval building constructed for defence purposes, this 16th century house was confiscated during the French Revolution and sold by the government. It was transformed into a farmhouse in the 19th century before practically falling into ruins in the 20th. The new owner has restored the building over the past few years using techniques dating from the time it was originaly constructed: spiral staircase made of solid oak, nailed floorboards, stained glass windows, etc. The house is still partially surrounded by curtain walls and ditches Many vestiges have been found on site (decorated hexagonal floor tiles, pottery, etc.). The building is included on the supplementary inventory of historic monuments.
