Eglise Saint-Michel du Vieux Lugo
Description
This 11th century church is the last witness of the ancient village of Lugo, it was gradually abandoned in the 17th century. Nestled in the heart of the Landes de Gascogne forest, it was an important stopover for pilgrims heading to Santiago de Compostela. It is decorated with 16th century wall paintings.
