The commune has a long history. The parish church is a Romanesque church that was extensively rebuilt in the 15th and 19th centuries. The St. Nicholas chapel, located in the cemetery, dates from the 15th century. The chapel of Lapeyrouse, with its original architecture reminiscent of that of the Saint-Front cathedral in Périgueux, was built in the 19th century.
