Description

Marcillac-Saint-Quentin is a commune located on the "Sarlat/Montignac" axis. This axis makes it possible to take advantage of the economic activity with the creation of the locality known as Borne 120.
The development of this activity zone allows new businesses to be set up on more than 3 hectares.
In 1827, the communes of Marcillac and Saint-Quentin merged under the name Marcillac-Saint-Quentin. This village belongs to the canton of Sarlat-la Canéda.
For several years the commune has been experiencing a strong demographic increase. The main economic poles are linked to agricultural, tourist and craft activities.

The Romanesque church of Marcillac opens its doors every year for an exhibition of paintings, its architecture is admired by those who discover it. In addition you will find the Château du Barry, 15th and 17th centuries (private).
