Built in the 11th and 12th centuries, the church of Saint-Martin de Daglan has been remodelled many times. It is dedicated to Saint Martin, elected bishop of Tours in 371. This dedication attests that the parish is ancient and that it would exist since the Carolingian period. Of the original construction of the 11th and 12th centuries only the portal and some capitals remain today.
The church consisted of a single nave and a small transept. During the reconstruction following the destruction of the Wars of Religion, chapels dedicated to local seigniorial families were added. At the end of the 19th century, taking advantage of the need for repairs, the church was extended by three bays. The bell-tower rises above the choir.
