Eglise de Manaurie

Eglise de Manaurie

Description

In Roman style, the church of Manaurie is a church with a bell-tower wall founded at the end of the 11th century and the beginning of the 12th whose name is "Saint Peter with Bonds".

It was modified at several times, in particular after a fire, the date of which cannot be given. The nave was rebuilt lower than before, as evidenced by the remains of two Roman windows "one on each side of the nave next to the two ogivales". It is possible that originally there may have been a stone vault in the nave as well as in the heart and the two chapels.

It was restored by volunteers in the 1970s.
