Sarlat-la-Caneda

Description

Sarlat-la-Canéda, 67 km south-east of Périgueux, is one of the jewels of the Périgord Noir. Walking through the town is like reading nearly a thousand years of architecture where, from the cobblestones to the grey lauze roofs, a warm, blonde stone from the Périgord predominates. It is on foot that you must discover the cathedral, the chapel of the White Penitents, the Lantern of the Dead, the Presidial, the hotels Gisson, de Maleville, Plamon, the Maison de la Boétie. Sarlat also retains you around its famous tables (foie gras, ceps, potatoes Sarlat, ...).
