Description
Come and enter this great 19th century institution. Experience the beauty of its high coloured walls and the charm of its creaking floorboards! Here you can explore and discover fabulous collections: prehistory (4th largest national collection) the Middle Ages (original capitals from Saint Front Cathedral), fine arts from 16th to 20th centuries in Europe. France and the Perigord, non-european ethnic exhibits from Africa and the South Pacific (7th largest national collection). Five annual exhibitions of contemporary art and public services aimed at the public at large.
