








A 1000 year old church!
Place of pilgrimage on the road to St Jacques de Compostela, in the heart of the oold city, this fortified church dominates the valley of the Isle river.
Built on the remains of an 11th century building, this former collegiate church was restored and enlarged in the 15th century. The interior is decorated with a new German Baroque organ, Gothic side chapels, Renaissance walnut stalls, a 19th century altarpiece and paintings dating from the 17th and 18th centuries. It is dominated by an imposing square bell tower and includes elements of fortifications, including machicolations.
Open all year round for a tour on your own.
Groups: guided tour by appointment (paying visit).
Individuals: access to the bell tower in the summer, free of charge, booking required : on Tuesday at 10 am and Friday at 5 pm.
