Port d'Arcachon
Description
In an exceptional site, sheltered from the waves and the open sea, is the port of Arcachon. The only deep water port in the Arcachon Basin, it is the second marina on the west coast of France after that of La Rochelle. It offers its boaters 2,600 rings (of which 250 are reserved for passengers) on a surface area of water of 21 ha. The substations are distributed over 28 pontoons equipped with water distribution and lighting and, for some of them, electrical energy distribution terminals. The port is the scene of many nautical events.
