Description
On the banks of the Lourdios mountain river, set in a peaceul, pastoral mountain valley, Estivade (450m altitude) is a treasure trove of discovery for nature lovers. The village of Lourdios-Ichère is at the confluence of two Pyrenean valleys: the Aspe Valley, leading to Spain and the Paths of St. James of Compostella over the Somport Col, a verdant valley that appeals greatly to hikers. And the Barétous Valley, between the Basque country and the high mountains of Béarn, with its traditions, pastoralism and tourism (ski resort of Pierre-St-Martin)
