Kungsängen
Description
År 1742 reste Linnés vän Sten Carl Bielke över Kungs-
ängen. Han fann då Fritillaria meleagris, den växt vi idag
känner som Kungsängslilja. Bielke rapporterade fyndet
till Linné, som genast förstod att den spridit sig hit från
Uppsala Botaniska Trädgård. I mitten av maj blommar
tusentals kungsängsliljor på Kungsängen.
