Le Ciron

The Ciron is a calm brook, starting in the Landes forest and travelling during arround a hundred kilometers and flow into the Garonne river.
There is a huge heritage the long of the Ciron brook, which is nicknamed "the brook with castles".
Cold waters, warm waters : the Ciron brook flow into the Garonne river and every morning during fall, the fog goes up the valley and the Sauternes vineyard to moisten the grapes. During the afternoon the sun dries it. This mecanical alternation allows the born of the noble rot, which give to the Sauternes wines a concentration and an aromatic abundance.
For the hiking lovers, many routes are located arround the Ciron brook. For a quiet walk, there is the "Belvédère du Ciron" in Bernos-Beaulac which is a nature trail offering a beautiful view of the Ciron brook.
