Description
Until the 15th century, Talais was an island between ocean and estuary
The area was drained at the end of the 16th century by order of Henry IV
The proximity of the ocean and its beaches, the beauty of the most beautiful estuary in Europe, the charm of the marshes, are today at the origin of a developing tourist activity: visits to oyster farms and oyster tasting.
