Canal des Étangs du Porge
Description
The canal du Porge connects the Lacanau pond to the Arcachon Basin. It is equipped with six locks and the current is weak.
Canoeing, kayaking and paddling are the only nautical activities allowed, only in the area between the Pas-du-Bouc lock and the Langouarde lock
Water activities are permitted from April 15 to October 15 inclusive, from sunrise to sunset
The single point of water launch and exit is located upstream of the Pas-du-Bouc lock.
