Le Saut du Chalard
Description
From the village, a sign indicates the direction to get to this magnificent natural site. You will have to leave your car on a small car park and then follow the footpath that leads to a lovely waterfall on the river "la Dronne". A legend, which dates back to the 17th century, tells that a bell from the village of Abjat is immersed in the waters of the Saut du Chalard and that it chimes every Thursday around 2 pm.
