






Located in the heart of the Périgord Vert, the Miallet reservoir was created between 1988 and 1992 to support the low water flow of the Côle and Dronne rivers and thus enable the irrigation of cereal crops.
In 1998, the site was classified as a Sensitive Natural Area (ENS) and beyond its initial vocation, it allows the preservation of aquatic species and the regular presence of sedentary or migratory waterfowl.
With a track of about 8 km (PDIPR) around the reservoir, the dam is a place for walks, educational outings (interpretation trail, ornithological observatory, ...)
