The Grande-Rue is the central artery of the old village which was inhabited by the craftsmen and the staff of the castle. It is lined with typical houses forming a beautiful homogeneous whole. At n ° 44: old house of the 16th and 17th century. At n ° 27: in the courtyard, typical rural house with balcony and covered gallery (16th and 17th). At n ° 23: the hotel of Gesvres (18th century), ruined by fire in 1775, then rebuilt. Note the “ mascaron “ above the balcony. At n ° 18: old cut-off corner house. At n ° 19/21: hotel of the 17th and 18th.
