Crêt d'Eau and Crêt de la Goutte
Description
Discover the 360° panoramic view of the Alps and the Jura from the viewpoint indicator on the Crêt de la Goutte (1,621m/5,318ft), the highest point of the Crêt d'Eau massif.
Pedestrian access to the crêt de la Goutte from the Menthières station or the Charnaz parking lot.
Loop hikes of 4 hours and 8km are possible.

Location complements
- 15 km from Bellegarde town center (TGV - TER train station) - Access via A40 freeway: exits 9 or 10 - In the Haute Chaîne du Jura nature reserve, within the Parc Naturel Régional du Haut Jura. 1 km after entering Menthières, turn right onto the Grand Crêt d'Eau forest road. Follow it for 1.5 km, then turn left onto another road. Leave your car at the end of the paved section.
