Eglise Saint Martin et Sainte Libiaire

Description

L’église Saint-Martin et Sainte-Libiaire est reconstruite au milieu du XVIIe siècle, après les dommages
des guerres de Religions. Le 25 octobre 1701, la messe pontificale est célébrée par
Monseigneur Bossuet, évêque de Meaux, pour l’exposition de la châsse de Sainte Libiaire, avant laquelle il y a eu la procession solennelle de la châsse. Sainte-Libiaire patronne de l’église est une vierge et martyre des
romains, elle naquit et vécut en lorraine au milieu du IVe siècle.
