La Ferme des Iles Morice

Nathalie MORICE started her veal farm in 2008 and created her brand "Le veau de Nathalie". Since 1 April 2018, she has gone into partnership with her daughter Samantha.
Their herd is made up of beef and mixed breeds: Limousin, Simmental, Normande and Montbéliarde. The bull is of the Belgian Blue White breed, which guarantees a high quality veal taste with the cross-breeding on the cows.
Nathalie and Samantha's aim is to rear their animals extensively, the old-fashioned way: the cows graze on meadows and grasses without pesticides or GMOs. As for the calves, they are pampered: they are raised in music, on straw and cared for with plants. And most importantly, they drink only milk from the cows, with no food supplements or added proteins!
"Our meat ranges from light pink to darker, to suit everyone! Meat that is white should alert consumers to what they have on their plates", explains Nathalie.

Farming is a family passion that has been passed down through several generations, and the next generation is sure to follow.

Nathalie's veal can be found in the Traditional Butchery sections of Leclerc shops in St Nazaire, Herbignac and Saint-Nicolas de Redon, at Intermarché in Le Pouliguen and Pontchâteau, at Spar in Missillac and Carrefour Market in Pénestin (from Easter until the end of September). It is also possible to buy directly from the farm, by prior order and appointment.
