Description
Cette chapelle reconstruite en 1702 est considérée comme l'une des plus belles de la Flandre, bâtie au pied de la colline de Merckeghem, près d'un ruisseau alimenté par une source aux vertus miraculeuses: ce lieu de culte doit son existence au séjour de Mildrède, sainte anglaise qui vécue en ces lieux au VIIe siècle.
