Vous êtes à la Croisette, l’un des points les plus élevés de Villers-Pol, vue notamment sur le village et Maresches. La stèle a été érigée à la mémoire de l’Abbé Lehut, tué par les Allemands en 1944. Empruntez, à gauche de la stèle, le chemin qui longe le petit bois. Le chemin de terre, empierré par endroits, est protégé par une haie.
