‘Le Bois de Vernaz’ on the banks of the river Arve is a natural, wooded location offering walkers and mountain bikers a place in which to spend some time relaxing and discovering the local fauna and flora.
The Bois de Vernaz, a natural area of ecological, faunistic and floristic interest, has undergone major forestry development to ensure its long-term survival. The wood has also been given an educational vocation, with the creation of a walking trail, a fitness trail and the installation of several theme panels.
