Waterfall of Glandieu

Waterfall of Glandieu

Description

This waterfall, whose water gushes from a height of over 60 m, is classified as a "Sensitive Natural Area". It is open to the public all year round and can be admired from a special area. To preserve it, swimming, picnics and dogs are prohibited.
To refresh yourself in summer, take advantage of the supervised swimming in July and August at the Glandieu lake, located 2 km from the waterfall, at the exit of the hamlet towards Brégnier-Cordon.

Two car parks have been set up outside the hamlet. It is not possible to park in the immediate vicinity of the waterfall.

A guided tour is organised by the Tourist Office to find out more about the history of the hamlet of Glandieu. Reservation required at the Tourist Office.
