Vous avez également la possibilité de suivre l’ancien cours de la « Petite Sensée » par le petit chemin à gauche. Avant le XVIIIe s., la Sensée se divisait en effet en deux bras à Wavrechain-sous- Faulx ; le bras principal a conservé son emplacement et se jette dans le canal de l’Escaut, l’autre bras, la « Petite Sensée » a été coupé en 1783, date du creusement du canal.
