In the past, Kerbouchard used to be a village, with its own cross. In 1907, inhabitants ask for a well. Water was not good and people said it was linked to the lack of cross. A new cross appeared in 1917 thanks to Abbé fourage, then Guillaume Pain a craftsman from Batz-sur-Mer realized another one in 1937, which was broken by a storm. A new one was paid by the inhabitants in 1983.
