Description

Also known as Notre Dame de l'Assomption, this neo-Gothic church was built at the end of the 19th century to replace an earlier Romanesque building.
The grace of this building lies in its interior: monolithic granite columns, capitals and straight legs sculpted by Vallet, a grey marble altar, models of the three-masted barque "St Joseph" and the seaplane from the "Loire" series, sculptures by Jean Fréour, not forgetting the tapestries by Françoise Tual depicting the seasons and "the hope of mankind".
In addition to worship services, the church also hosts concerts, choirs and other events during the summer months.
