Tourner à droite puis emprunter de suite à gauche le chemin de Lacan, bordé de platanes. Plus loin, laisser le château de la Marguerite à gauche et poursuivre sur la piste en terre. À la fourche, aller à gauche. Passer entre deux vignes bordées d’un mur de pierres. Dépasser le captage et, par l’ancien chemin muletier, monter jusqu’au col de Portes en ignorant les autres embranchements.
