Located in Vallet, in the heart of the Pays Nantais region, Château de la Guipière is a wine estate steeped in history, dating back to the 15th century. Formerly known as La Guiptière, this former noble house and seigneury of Le Pallet has been in the hands of several families. The estate's buildings, such as the stable, the saddlery, the orange grove and the tower, bear witness to Tuscan architecture. The Château was built in the 19th century. Then, in the 20th century, the owner of the Château, unhappy in love, decided to ward off fate and had the Château burnt down.
The 22-hectare vineyard is planted with Melon de Bourgogne and Gros Plant, the emblematic grape varieties of Muscadet and the Nantes region.
The estate continues the winemaking tradition by producing wines renowned for their finesse and their expression of the terroir. Our different vintages are testimony to this.
Don't hesitate to come and visit us to discover our estate.
