Après environ 1 heure de montée, on débouche sur une piste forestière qui coupe le sentier. L'emprunter sur la droite sur quelques dizaines de mètres, puis récupérer, balisé sur la gauche, un sentier raide qui s'élève dans la forêt et débouche en lisière.
