Avignon Gare Centre

Avignon center station is ideally located, just a 2-minute walk from the historic center and a 15-minute walk from the famous Palais des Papes.
It was opened in 1849.
Avignon-Centre is a major regional station.
It is served by numerous TER trains - TER Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur and TER Occitanie - including Avignon - Lyon via Valence, Avignon - Marseille, Avignon - Miramas via Cavaillon, and Avignon - Montpellier via Nîmes.

Connections are possible with the Orizo urban network, via tramway line T1, as well as several bus lines.

In addition, a nearby bus station is served by several Zou!, liO and Région Ardèche intercity bus routes.
