This show is a tribute to a profession, and to the women who have taken it on and, at times, carried it on their own. The script spans 100 years of farm work – 100 years of emotions, fragility and strength all at once. It is inspired by
the words gathered from retired and working women farmers in the Pays de Redon and Fougères regions. Anne-Cécile Richard brings to the stage a piece of documentary theatre through the eyes of these heroines, past and present, which raises questions about our shared future. Moving and heartfelt.
