Romancero Ibérico - Séfarade

For this fourth concert organised by the association “L’Église au Milieu du Village”, Laetitia Marcangeli, on vocals and percussion, and Morgan Astruc, on guitar, will present a recital dedicated to Spanish and Sephardic musical traditions.

Through medieval romances, love songs, wedding songs, lullabies and serenades, the two artists will introduce the audience to a repertoire drawn from the Iberian and Sephardic traditions, in a dialogue between music, poetry and memory.

Founded in 2024 by a couple from the Vendée with a deep attachment to their region, L’Église au Milieu du Village aims to breathe new life into our villages’ churches – which are all too often neglected – by organising concerts and live performances there.
Through these events, the association seeks to promote our heritage, encourage social interaction and enable everyone to rediscover the beauty and history of these buildings. For us, churches are much more than just buildings: their architecture, acoustics and history make them places that inspire wonder, foster connection and pass on our heritage.
