La Maison des Buis

Welcome to the “Maison des Buis”, your guesthouse in the heart of Falaise, the birthplace of William the Conqueror and a key location in the history of medieval Normandy!

Originally a coaching inn converted into a farmhouse during the 16th century, the “Maison des Buis” is situated in the unmissable Guibray district, once famous for its medieval fair and its Romanesque church, Notre-Dame-de-Guibray.

Sylvie and Eric will be delighted to welcome you to their charming home and to look after you throughout your stay in Falaise, a thousand-year-old town with an extremely rich history. Whether it’s leisure or culture, they’ll be happy to recommend the must-see spots to make your stay in Falaise an unforgettable experience!

The guest house is open all year round. Its three comfortable and beautifully decorated rooms (Mathilde Room, Guillaume Room and Arlette Room) all have an en-suite bathroom with a toilet and shower. Towels are provided.

> The Mathilde Room can accommodate 1 to 3 people (1 160-bed and 1 90-bed).
> The Guillaume Room can accommodate 1 to 3 people (1 160-bed and 1 90-bed)
[NEW] > The Arlette Room can accommodate 1 to 2 people (2 90-cm beds).

Breakfast will be served on the ground floor, featuring delicacies lovingly prepared by Sylvie. (included in the price)

You can also enjoy the beautifully landscaped garden, a true haven of peace, yet just a few minutes’ walk from Falaise town centre.
