You can enjoy the relaxed lifestyle of the Loire riverbanks whilst remaining within easy reach of shops, restaurants and everyday amenities. A bakery, tobacconist’s, post office, media library, open-air café, gourmet restaurant, canoeing and kayaking club and food trucks are all within walking distance. On Sunday mornings, the market set up right outside the holiday let invites you to discover local produce, craftspeople and regional specialities. Public car parks are nearby, and bus routes provide easy access to the railway station and Angers city centre.

This holiday let in Maine-et-Loire has two bedrooms: one with a 160 cm double bed and the other with two single beds that can be pushed together as required. The gîte can therefore comfortably accommodate a family or several guests. The living area comprises a fully-equipped kitchen with an oven, microwave, induction hobs, coffee maker and kettle, as well as a lounge area with a television, a sofa bed for an extra guest and a dining table. The bathroom is fitted with a bath, a washbasin and a washing machine. The toilet is separate and accessed via a few steps. 

Families will also appreciate the picnic tables and children’s play equipment located just a few metres from the accommodation, perfect for making the most of sunny days and enjoying time together outdoors. Nature lovers and cycle tourists will be delighted by the gîte’s location on the ‘Loire à Vélo’ cycle route. From Bouchemaine, set off to explore the landscapes of the Loire region, its charming villages and the riverbanks. The neighbouring village of Béhuard, accessible by bike, offers a lovely day out in the heart of Anjou’s heritage. Nearby, Angers and its castle, famous for the Apocalypse Tapestry, are around 5 km away. Brissac Castle, one of Anjou’s major heritage sites, is situated about 20 km away. The region is therefore ideal for cultural visits as well as cycle rides, walks along the riverbank and culinary discoveries.

The holiday cottage is not accessible to people with reduced mobility. To make your stay easier, the beds are made on arrival, towels are provided, and electricity and heating are included. A shared cellar with another property provides a convenient place to store bicycles. Tourist tax and end-of-stay cleaning are available at an additional cost. Fibre-optic Wi-Fi is available on site.
