La Fourerie

Welcome to La Fourerie! Ideally located just 10 minutes from Angers, in the former commune of Villevêque (now known as Rives du Loir en Anjou), come and enjoy the peace and quiet of the Angevin countryside. A stay with family or friends in this pretty 16th-century residence, on the edge of the Basses Vallées Angevines, will be the ideal opportunity to discover the many sites to visit in the area: walks, tastings of the many wine appellations, discovery of the cultural and gastronomic heritage...

This gîte adjoins the owners' house and is much appreciated for its old beams and tufa stone walls. It comprises :

Ground floor:
- a living room with lounge, fitted kitchen and dining area
- A laundry area and separate WC

First floor:
- A first bedroom with a 160cm x 200cm bed and a 90cm x 190cm bed overlooking the orchard
- A second bedroom with twin beds (80cm x 200cm) overlooking the garden,
- A separate shower room with shower and WC.

On sunny days, you can make the most of the outside terrace with garden furniture, barbecue and deckchairs, as well as the fully private, hedged garden area. Available in the gîte: baby equipment on request (high chair and cot), WIFI internet connection. Electricity and heating charges are included in the rental price. C.E and Pony Club nearby. Beautiful supervised beach 4km away. Walks in the Basses Vallées Angevines and hiking trails, an exceptional site for its fauna, flora, habitats and especially its birds.

Sites to see nearby: the Château d'Angers, the cathedral, the Musée des Beaux-Arts, the David d'Angers gallery and the historic city centre 13 minutes away, Terra Botanica 12 minutes away, walks along the Maine or Loire rivers, ice rink, cinema... The nearest shops are 4km away. For professionals, the gîte is 8 km from the Exhibition Centre.
