Charming gîte for 4 people, just outside Angers, in the charming commune of Cantenay-Epinard, on the banks of the Mayenne. Peace and relaxation in a green setting.

The Pavillon des Goganes is a small stone house in the heart of a 9-hectare estate. Authentic and cosy, you'll love the lovely 30m² living room with its high stone walls, fireplace, corner sofa, television and dining area. Separate fitted kitchen. Life on one level is possible thanks to the bedroom with 2 beds of 80 x 200cm (joined or separated according to your needs), the bathroom and separate wc. Upstairs, a second bedroom under the pretty old roof features 2 x 90 x 200cm beds (assembled or separate as required).

Outside, there is a small private garden adjoining the gîte: 50m² of pleasantly planted garden with barbecue, garden furniture, parasol, chiliennes... The owners suggest you continue your discovery of the estate through the wooded park of nearly 9 hectares with a secure pond and magnificent trees.

The estate also houses a second gîte, which can also accommodate 4 travellers. This could be ideal for extended family stays, or for friends who want to share a convivial moment while each retaining their independence.

Just 300m away, there's a city stadium and a skate park for families and friends to play in. Cyclists will also be delighted: the Vallée du Loir à Vélo cycle route passes right in front of the estate and the Vélo Francette is just 1.2km away. You can choose to follow the banks of the Mayenne, Loir and Maine rivers... Continue a little further to admire the Loire.

A 20-minute cycle ride will take you to the port of Ile St Aubin. You'll be 15 minutes from the Château d'Angers, the Cité district, St Maurice Cathedral, the Château du Plessis Bourré and the Château du Plessis Macé. The Terra Botanica plant park is just 6 minutes away.

During your stay in Anjou, stroll along the river in the picturesque villages of Grez Neuville, Pruillé and the lock-keeper's house of La Roussière, Montreuil-Juigné. Just 700m from the gîte is the Chat qui Pêche dance hall. A gentle Anjou atmosphere guaranteed!

Florence and Olivier, the estate's resident owners, will be delighted to welcome you on site.
