On the banks of the Maine, 10 minutes from Angers, come and stay in the exceptional setting of the 19th-century Château du Fresne. Formerly the château's Orangerie, this gîte was renovated in 2022 and is set in 5 hectares of parkland. It combines comfort, heritage and well-being.

The entrance hall leads to the 15m² fitted and equipped kitchen with its dining area, followed by a convivial 23m² lounge with high ceilings and a decorative fireplace. From these living areas, there is a wooded area where you can take your meals and enjoy the outdoors. On the ground floor is the master suite with 160x200cm bed, private shower room and wc. The entire ground floor is accessible for wheelchair users.

Upstairs, you'll find 2 bedrooms, a games area and a bathroom with double washbasin, shower and bath. The first bedroom has a 200x200cm bed and a view of the park and château. The second bedroom, which will delight children, has 4 single beds (90x190cm).

In the grounds of the château, enjoy a 12x6m heated swimming pool, open from May to September, with sun loungers and uninterrupted views over the countryside and the Maine River. The SPA is also at your disposal. Services to be shared with bed and breakfast guests.

This gîte with swimming pool is ideally located for exploring Anjou, La Maine and La Loire: 10 minutes from Angers (Château d'Angers, Musée Jean Lurçat, Musée des Beaux Arts, Terra Botanica). The Loire à Vélo cycle route passes right in front of the château, giving you access to beautiful walks along the Loire and through picturesque villages such as Savennières, Ile de Béhuard and La Possonnière. A little further afield, explore the châteaux of Serrant, Brissac and Saumur...
