You’ll fall in love with this traditional Norman thatched cottage from 1840, a completely private home nestled in the middle of a beautiful, enclosed garden—all to yourself! You’re here at the foot of the forest in the Boucles de la Seine Normande Regional Nature Park; from the cottage, you can walk or bike to the Marais Vernier, an incredible natural area designated a RAMSAR site since 2015 (an ecosystem recognized with a specific international designation). There are plenty of walks to enjoy! Comfortable and tastefully decorated, this charming, traditional, and cozy vacation home is perfect for relaxation. Its location is truly ideal for exploring Normandy—in particular, just a stone’s throw away are the Marais Vernier, Pont-Audemer and its canals, the “Côte Fleurie” (Honfleur, Deauville, Trouville), and, on the other side of the Seine, Rouen, Étretat, Fécamp, or Le Havre. On the ground floor: entryway, dining room with kitchen, living room with fireplace (not usable in the summer due to the thatched roof), one bedroom (1 double bed), bathroom, and toilet. Upstairs: 2 bedrooms—one with 1 double bed and the second with 2 single beds. For your comfort, heating (unless used in the summer: flat rate of 10? per day), firewood, towels, and sheets are included in your rental. Bicycle rental is available (bicycles can be picked up on-site at the guesthouse): please check with the owner. You’ll enjoy a large, enclosed garden of 2,500 m² all to yourself.
