La Closerie

The peace and quiet of the Anjou countryside in the heart of the Anjou vineyards: welcome to La Closerie gîte! Located in Chemellier, in the new commune of Brissac Loire Aubance, your stay with family or friends will be the perfect opportunity to discover the nuggets of our region! Cycle along the hillsides or along the Loire, discover the region's architectural, gastronomic and cultural heritage... In short, there's plenty to fill your holiday programme.

Close to a farm, this small 16th-century farmhouse opens on the ground floor into a living room with a fully-equipped kitchen (dishwasher, oven, microwave, fridge, etc.), a dining area and a sitting area with a BZ sofa, armchairs and TV. From this room, you can access the master bedroom suite with a 140cm x 190cm double bed, a desk and a private shower room with walk-in shower, vanity unit and heated towel rail. There is also a utility room with washing machine and tumble dryer. Separate WC on the ground floor.

Upstairs, there is a bedroom with two single beds (100cm x 190cm) and an en-suite shower room with shower and WC.

The outside area will delight young and old alike! Garden furniture, deckchairs, barbecue... Enough to make the most of sunny days. The outside area is not private and is enclosed. At the side of the gîte, there's a boules pitch to get your evenings going and two children's swings. Additional charges: heating and electricity over 8kwh per day (current EDF rate), wood for the fireplace.

There are many sites to discover during your stay: Terra Botanica is 30 minutes away, Angers, its historic city centre, château and banks of the Maine are 30 minutes away, the Doué-en-Anjou Biopark is 15 minutes away, Saumur with its château and famous black frame is 30 minutes away, the château of Brissac (the highest château on the Loire!) is 10 minutes away, and above all the Montgolfiades, an annual event not to be missed at the end of August, when many hot-air balloons take to the skies!
