Welcome to Soulaire-et-Bourg, a charming, peaceful village 12 minutes north of Angers, in the heart of the Anjou countryside and surrounded by the Mayenne and Sarthe rivers. An ideal setting for a couple's getaway, a nature break or a stopover for cycling enthusiasts.

Your guest room is located in a separate building, guaranteeing peace and privacy.

Ground floor: pleasant 20 m² living room with sitting area and table with chairs. Suitable for teleworking or relaxing when you return from your visits. Fridge and kettle available.

Upstairs is a cosy bedroom with a king-size bed (180x200cm), which can be converted into two 90x200cm beds on request. The room also has armchairs and storage space for your convenience.

The bathroom facilities are on the ground floor: shower, vanity unit, heated towel rail and WC (please note: there is no WC upstairs).

On request, two extra beds can be provided for a supplement of €25/pers/night: one 80x200 cm bed and one 80x200 cm trundle bed.

Breakfast is served in the living room of the owners' house, a convivial way to start the day.

Outside, there is a small garden furniture area in front of the house and access to the rear garden. There's also a hen house where you can watch the chickens, which children love.

Nearby attractions

There are plenty of walks and things to discover in the surrounding area. In the evening, enjoy the friendly atmosphere of the riverside guinguettes, particularly in Cantenay-Épinard and Cheffes. Just 5 minutes away by car, discover the Château du Plessis-Bourré, a remarkable 15th-century fortress offering a wide range of activities. Terra Botanica, the famous plant park, is 10 minutes away. Finally, the city centre of Angers is just 20 minutes away, offering a wealth of culture and heritage.
