Featuring Karine Mallem (flute) and Maxime Béduneau (guitar)
The duo was formed in 2026, centred on the repertoire of Astor Piazzolla and a desire to tell the story of tango through music.
Comprising two teachers from the Maison des Arts in Challans – Karine Mallem on the flute and Maxime Béduneau on the guitar – Vol de nuit offers its interpretation of a century of tango through original works and transcriptions, recounting the origins, developments and future of what remains, even today, much more than just a dance.
The concert celebrates the sharing of music on stage, but also demonstrates that forms – in both music and dance – are never set in stone, and that beyond the fleeting musical moment, they reflect life itself and the people who bring them to life.
Free admission, subject to booking from 14 October
