Located in the village center, the Church of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary—more commonly known as Notre-Dame-de-l'Assomption—was built in the 11th or 12th centur, was rebuilt in 1675 in the Vauban style (arched vaults) and restored in 1970: exposed timber framing, galleries with turned wooden balusters, recent stained-glass windows by Charles Carrère, a master glassmaker in Anglet, and finally, a ship suspended in the nave, donated in the 18th century by the Saint-Nicolas mutual insurance company. A preserved heritage.
