Welcome to G%EEte Postel, a vacation home designed to accommodate up to 10 people. Whether you’re traveling with family or friends, we’ve done everything to ensure you have a pleasant vacation while enjoying all that Barfleur has to offer.

As soon as you arrive, you’ll appreciate the spacious rooms and the warm atmosphere of this home. On the ground floor, you’ll find the living room, which features a fireplace; the veranda, overlooking the garden, has a large table where meals can stretch into the evening; and the separate kitchen is fully equipped (dishwasher, oven, microwave, refrigerator with freezer compartment)—everything you need to cook just like at home. There is also a double bedroom, ideal for guests who wish to avoid stairs, with a separate bathroom and toilet nearby.

Upstairs, two additional bedrooms complete the accommodations, along with a bathroom and a separate toilet.

Baby gear is available: a wooden crib, high chair, changing table, umbrella stroller, potty, and toys are provided free of charge.

Outside, the fully enclosed 1,300 m² garden allows children to play safely while the adults relax on the lounge chairs or play a game of pétanque. Summer meals can be enjoyed around the barbecue after a busy day by the sea.

Ten bicycles are available free of charge (for children and adults). This is a great opportunity to explore the small roads of the Val de Saire, visit the nearby port and its shops, or ride along the coast without having to take the car.

And because vacations are better when shared, your pets are welcome at no extra charge.

Heating is included in the rate so you can enjoy your stay any time of year. For your convenience, bed linens are available for rent, and a cleaning service at the end of your stay is optional.

Ranked among the “Most Beautiful Villages of France,” Barfleur charms visitors with its harbor, granite houses, and seaside atmosphere. Stroll along the docks, sample Barfleur mussels, visit the Gatteville lighthouse, or hike the GR223 trail that runs along the coast. The Val de Saire also offers beautiful walks through the seaside, rolling countryside, and small villages.

The Gîte Postel is a convenient starting point for exploring this part of the Cotentin. After a day at the beach, a bike ride, or a tour of the surrounding area, return to the tranquility of the house and enjoy time with family or friends.
