This 1st category graded stream takes its source in the Mas du Bost forest on the commune of Saint Bonnet de Bellac. It flows down in the Blourde river in the Vienne. Mostly used to fish trouts (released by the AAPPMA), it suffers from dryness (only a little stream remaining in summer). Some white crayfishes, wich is a protected specie, are to be found. On the 1st grade rivers, only one fishing rod per angler is allowed, with maximum 2 hooks and 3 artificial flies. Fishing licenses sold: in Busssière-Poitevine (at Presse et Fleurs, 14th Adrien Girette square) and in Saint Barbant (at the town-hall), or on the website www.cartedepeche.fr (only in french). Prices: daily fishing license (10€), weekly fishing license (32€), annual fishing licenses (95€ for interfederal men-license, 73€ for the Haute-Vienne men-license, 32€ for women, 20€ for minors (from 12 to 18), 6€ for children under 12).
