Situated in the heart of the Olonne marshes, the hamlet of La Girvière bears witness to the rural history and traditional activities that have shaped the area. Long centred on salt production, market gardening and wine-growing, this village retains a rich architectural heritage that reveals the skills and ways of life of days gone by.
