La Ferme des Roseaux in La Plaine-sur-Mer was created by Hugo and Marion in 2016. An eco-responsible farm by the ocean.
Hugo and Marion monitor the products at La Ferme des Roseaux from A to Z and combine their skills to offer you quality products and pass on their passion in complete transparency.

Retz Spirulina
It's in this unspoilt environment, bathed in sunshine and sea air, that Spiruline de Retz flourishes. Marion and Hugo, committed craftsmen, grow their French farmhouse spirulina in the greenhouse in outdoor ponds, without pesticides, fungicides or insecticides.
The spirulina is dried at a low temperature, making it easy to add to your diet.


Les Algues de Retz
Hugo is a professional fisherman who harvests seaweed, sea lettuce, ao-nori, sea beans, dulse and other sea vegetables locally, according to the tides and in line with sustainable practices. Once dehydrated, they can be added to all your recipes: omelettes, seaweed tartars, marinades, vegetable purées, salads, raw vegetables, court-bouillon... a nice fresh, iodised touch to your dishes!

Free visit to La Ferme des Roseaux
La Ferme des Roseaux opens its doors to visitors. Here you can discover the secrets of traditional farming and the benefits of this extraordinary seaweed. A gustatory and educational journey, for a healthy and responsible diet.

👉 Come and take a free tour of the human-sized farm and find all the Spirulina and Algues de Retz products in the shop during opening hours.

Group visits by prior arrangement (minimum 10 people) with or without tasting.


💡 Did you know that...
Spirulina is classified as a superfood by the WHO. It is rich in protein, mineral salts (iron, calcium, magnesium...) and also contains all the essential amino acids, powerful antioxidants (beta-carotene, chlorophyll, phycocyanin) and numerous vitamins (A, B1, B2, B3, B5, B6, B9, B12...).
